01/FROM WAJIMA【

In Wajima, a town of urushi (Japanese lacquer), time passes slowly and cultivates true luxuriance.

A Thousand Rice Paddies in Shiroyone Overlooking the Sea of Japan.
People bustling past each other in the morning market.
Craftspeople quietly yet earnestly applying themselves to their work.
In Wajima, you can find beautiful scenery and cultures even on ordinary days.
Such beauties exist here today because the people in this town have carefully preserved and passed them on.
Wajima-nuri, which requires a great deal of time to create, and which can be enjoyed all the more through its aging, is one of the traditions of Wajima, a place that has passed down its charms to residents who appreciate their hometown’s nature and cherish their daily lives.
